Tortilla cups with speltflakes

Spelt flakes
  • 75g Meesters van De Halm speltvlokken
  • boter of bakspray
  • 12 kleine tortillas
  • 1el oliveoil
  • 1/2 an union
  • 500gr minced meat
  • taco spices
  • pepper and salt
  • 250g cherry tomatoes
  • 100g geraspte kaas
  • 100g ijsbergsla
  • sour cream

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grease the muffin tray and place the small tortilla’s in each cup of the muffin tray. You can cut out smaller circles with incisions to make it easier to fold into the cups.


Chop the onion and tomatoes. Put the onions in a frying pan together with the olive oil and fry until they are soft, then add the ground beef.


Add the speltflakes, taco seasoning and salt/pepper. When the beef is almost done, add half of the cherry tomatoes.


Drain the fat and liquids. Fill the tortilla cups and top it off with some cheddar cheese. Put the tray into the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Garnish with tomatoes, cheese, lettuce and sour cream. Enjoy!
